During a trip to Morocco, Neal and Peter find themselves targeted by the Starry Wisdom cult. January 1976. Arkham Files story #8. Sequel to Sands of Abydos. In Arkham Files, White Collar characters are fused into the world of the Cthulhu Mythos. No prior knowledge of either White Collar or Lovecraft is required. Although Lovecraft is a master of the horror genre, in Arkham Files the emphasis is on science fiction and fantasy with a generous sprinkling of romance. First names are the same as in White Collar. Neal Caffrey is known as Neal Carter. Peter Burke is Peter Gilman. In addition to Neal and Peter, White Collar characters include Diana, Mozzie, Elizabeth, June, Sara, Jones, and Hughes. Neal and Sara are both a few years younger than their New York counterparts. The series is a meta work with the stories referenced in the Caffrey Conversation series. It's not necessary to read the Caffrey Conversation stories beforehand, but for readers who do, there is an added dimension. More information about the meta aspect is on my blog, Penna Nomen & Silbrith Conversation. Disclaimer: This story is for fun. I do not own White Collar or the world of the Cthulhu Mythos.
