[On Hiatus]

Izuku Midoriya's life is a mess, his parents are MIA, he's living on his own, his only source of income is the odd jobs he does for his landlord, and surviving his last year of middle school may just be one of the hardest things he has ever had to do. To top it all off he is Musutafu's newest vigilante ,Calamity, and he is currently being sought out by every hero and police in the area. Life isn't cutting him any breaks, and it doesn't seem like it's going to start to anytime soon, so Izuku is forced to stumble his way through dealing with his own problems, while simultaneously saving the city from dangers it doesn't even know exist, and trying to get into the hero course of his dream school.

The lives of the Class 1-A students and teachers couldn't always be considered much better.

Teachers stressed over how to efficiently keep their students safe, while still fighting of the imminent danger lurking in the shadows of the city.

A student has to grapple with accepting themselves as who they are, while trying to fix past mistakes, trying to mend past relationships, and diging deep into themselves to learn what they truly stand for.

Another student has to come to terms with their own self-pity, forcing them to take a good hard look at their past, who they were back then, and then their future, and who they want to be.

Another has to take a good hard look at their outlook on life as a whole, forcing them to drop the illusion that this will be as easy as it's made out to be, and keeping the rest of the class entertained as they frantically searched for ways to right past wrongs even if they'd already done enough to gain everyones trust.

Finally, traitor. The word hangs over the head of one student, constantly haunting their thoughts, and when they can no longer live in the outside world, they choose to live in their own head, but what happens when they can't do that either?

Izuku Midoriya is a good kid. A great kid, in fact. He's saved two little kids from big time villains, defeated Hero Killer Stain, and survived two villain attacks in only his first year at UA, the top hero school in the country. You wouldn't expect him to have three part-time jobs, an impossibly sick mother, and to live in a dingy gang infested neighborhood, working himself to the bone just for dinner. You wouldn't expect him to make money by doing street performances with a break dancing group, or winning bets with the many gangs in the neighborhood. You certainly wouldn't expect the hero-in-training to commit petty theft to provide for the four other poor families that live on his street. But it's all true. He lives in a poor neighborhood where no one has a decent job and there isn't a single hero, not even an underground one. The kids there have only been to the city once or twice, and none of them have parents. One girl does, and was left there willingly. They regularly have to fight off the vermin trying to take their food, and consider a single dollar a fortune. This is Izuku's home. and, if his teacher doesn't find out what's going on soon and save him, it may be his deathbed. I mean, is it really his fault a piece of the ceiling crashed onto his legs and completely shattered them? Disclaimer: I do not own Boku No Hero Academia. All characters belong to Kohei Horikoshi, I own nothing but the plot and mentioned OC'S. NOW COMPLETED. Started- 10/23/2020 Completed- 02/28/2021
Fuck off, Mineta! by IheartPickles07
36 parts Ongoing
A villain with a gender-bending quirk, how original, found themselves in front of an awfully pissed-off Gun Head. Using their similarly villainous girlfriend and an odd smoke bomb no less. Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, and Tenya Iida get caught in the crossfire, and these villains aren't too keen on turning them back. i wONdeR WHaT wIlL hApPeN??!1!? I'm kidding, I'm kidding... Just ignore me over here with my bad jokes and shitty humor. Anyway- With having to basically come out to their parents, as well as burdening the fact that even if they choose to be their original gender they will not only still be trans but also never be able to truly attain their original physique, the friends may just crack under the pressure. Oh yeah, and I guess there's that field trip looming, too. Ehh, not like *that's* gonna change anything... ~~~Warnings~~~ - TW: If you have bad body dysmorphia and maybe gender dysphoria, I would recommend looking for something else! This is liable to change but we'll see how it goes. - TW: Manga spoilers. This takes place weeks after the Final War arc, and I will be referencing it (and the wiki lol) throughout this book. - I'm not going to villainize Mineta, the title's just for comedy, he is and will stay as perfectly healthy and safe as everyone else. Although I'm still giving him a perv personality it'll be toned down I swear - Any inaccuracies, deliberately or otherwise, will be treated as canon divergence. This includes sexualities, neurodivergence, not so much identities but know it's on the table, and the big one, deaths. They killed off so many people 😭 I'm bringing back whoever I need and no more. - It's heavily implied in canon that IzuOcha is the endgame ship so that'll be here too, no I don't ship it. (Or anything else for that matter) All ships going forward happen based on how I'm feeling and how it would reasonably work (or not work) within the context of the story.

(Vigilante!Deku, dekubowl, litteral dick All Might, dadzawa, dadmic, Shindeku, and OC's) You know it's ironic that we're only trying to fix up how heros do things and even have heros and villains alike that agree but it's illegal. Excuse me? Society is quite fucked when middle schoolers are told to kill themselves, heros fight against other heros, and they form a vigilante group to fix it. And we're doing it better than All Might ever did. We start a war against those that want to stick to their uncivilized ways How will it end? Will we win? Will we be the same by the end of all this?
