Everyone is always navigating the world through relationships - the ones they have, the ones they had, the ones they want and the ones that are thrust upon them.  Still, life demands we deal with it too. Raven isn't looking for intrigue or mystery; she'd just like to figure out what she is going to do about her feelings for her best friend and come to grips with whatever is going on inside her that seems to be taking over her life. 

But when disturbing information about her deceased father comes to light, things start to unravel. And as she deals with those relationships that have been thrust upon her she begins to learn that the relationships she had, has and wanted may not have been what she thought all along...
