Firstly, he was approached by mysterious people who then tells him he's going to die soon and the next thing he knows, the darkness is out to get him. No one knows why this is happening and it looks like 'they' don't plan on giving anyone a chance to find out.

To their shock, you and L are the rather gloomy morbid couple and seem to be completely unfazed by the entirety of the dark case that is Kira.
