Scarred But Beautiful

My grandmother used to tell me as a little girl that the world we live in is a big, chaotic and cruel place and if you were not careful you could lose much more than just materialistic things and people.
You could lose yourself.

When grandma was in her deathbed she made me promise that I should never lose who I am and the strong demeanor I have. I wish I could have kept her promise.
