It's funny how things change, the things that we can't change end up changing us. My life is like a nightmare you can't wake up from. Thoughts hurt more than blades ever could.
It never matters if my eyes are open or closed, if I'm awake or asleep I always see the same darkness.
It's scary what smile can hide, and the world is just about the see what's behind mine.

Unrealistic Reality
There are some people who live in a dream world. A world where everything is perfectly fine. There are no fights, no pain, only happiness. These people see the bright side of everything, even the bad things in life. Then there are people who face reality. They know how much some things can hurt and how hard it can be to do the right thing. They have to make hard decisions, life changing ones. They get strangled in a web of lies, and once you're in, you can't get out. I belong to the second group and I am here to inform you that a perfect world doesn't exist. There is no such thing as 'a happily ever after.' We are all in the same game, just different levels. We're dealing with the same hell, only different devils. My devil is a killer and my game is to kill him. The only problem was I didn't know who my devil was. That's how the unrealistic game suddenly became a reality.Complete
New Normal
I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. Until I was introduced to an entirely new world or worlds that I wish I wasnt apart of but now its impossible to avoid.
Overlap
I have a secret that I don't share with most. I've been swept up into something bigger than anything I could ever imagine, and now I'm involved with more than just this one world. Our universe is bigger and more amazing than anyone realizes. Reality is merely subjective; we judge it based on what we experience and perceive, even when others do not share the same experiences. When my life turned upside down, I wasn't trying to fall in love; I wasn't trying to get too involved. When my senses all became shared with somebody else, I learned too much to turn away from it all. Her world, so near yet so far away, is something I can experience through her, our senses combined together, our realities overlapped between two places. It's there when my story started. This is our story. It has a beginning, but not an ending. The things that happened to me over all these years would have messed with most people's heads. I put up with all of it, because I couldn't hold back how I felt for her. Little did I know that love comes with a price. As amazing as it is to hear about someone finding their soulmate, it's something that can just as easily tear a person limb to limb, leaving nothing behind but dust. Romance isn't all about walking away in the sweet sunset; it's messy, complex, and downright terrifying at times. My abilities never made any of this easier.Complete
Separated By a Wall
August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. It’s funny how little things that happen in life can change everything about a person. How it changes their attitude, appearance, status in society, personality, and much more. I was your typical teenager, I hung out with all kinds of people, I loved making new friends, I didn't care about appearances or which group you were from. Then I started high school and everyone started changing, the cliques got worse and some of my friends had become too good for the rest of us. Life went on though no matter what there was a group of us that refused to let the politics of high school change us, but no matter what slowly each one of us fell into it all whether we realized it or not. Our group went from tons of people to a mere few. All that was left was those who didn't play in any sports, wasn't a genius, wasn't asked to join the more popular crowd, and who had no school spirit. You really found out who your true friends were through the transition of grade school to high school. I still got along with everyone although I only would hang out with my small group. Even we had let the politics of high school change us whether we realized it or not. We each had changed our outlook on life and our attitudes a little here and there but that could have just been considered as us growing up as well. I like to think that we were shaped by the harshness high school brought with it. Our group went through major changes our senior year not that we had expected it to happen or even wanted it to happen but it did changing our lives forever. It all started when two new guys were introduced to our school taking all of us for one hell of a ride.Complete
