Romance
Tennessee Rhodes lives the model life. She's pretty, popular, put together, and has stright As. All of her teachers love her and she has enough friends to last her a lifetime. She loves to smile, and she's good at it, too. Pretty much the entire male population at her school is in love with her. But despite living the perfect life, there's a lot more to her than what meets the eye. She lives under a tarp of hurt and confusion, and has since middle school. When Cash Austin moves in a few doors down, Tennessee is repulsed by him. He's ruggedly handsome, but he's a jerk. He cusses, he's arrogant and stuck-up about his baseball career, and to top everything off, he thinks Tennessee is head over heels for him. Tennessee wants nothing more than to pitch a line drive full of sense straight into his pretty face. But when she accidentally discovers Cash's biggest secret, destroying the diamond walls he's contructed, Tennessee finds it a struggle to keep her own walls from crumbling to dust. Suddenly, she doesn't know how to act with Cash around. Her typical confident, indifferent aura is often nowhere to be found when she needs it most desperately. It confuses and frustrates her, and she stresses so much about it she starts forgetting her priorities. Does Cash feel the same way? Is he really the arrogant moron Tennessee thinks he is? Dive in to see if Tennessee finally opens up to someone about her past.

"You should really tell him soon," Austin said as he walked closer to me. "It's complicated," I sighed, avoiding eye contact with the greek god standing before me. "Try me," Austin took another step towards me and once again I moved away from him. My back hit the wall, preventing me from moving any further. "It's just that I didn't want to upset him if it turned out that this wasn't going anywhere," "So now what?" He asked. "Violet I like you a lot, this isn't just some fling," he took a final step toward me and placed both hands on the wall besides my head so I was trapped. I gulped at his words. "Do you really mean it? Because if I'm going to tell him and risk our friendship I need to know that I'm not going to catch you making out with some cheerleader next week," Austin leaned his head forward and nuzzled into my neck. "I want to try and make this work," he said huskily before trailing kisses up my neck and along my jaw. "Okay, I'll tell him," *** Like most of the female population at her school, Violet is completely and utterly head over heels in love with the sex god that is Austin Hendrix. Unlike most of the female population at her school, Violet just so happens to be best friends with Austin's brother, essentially meaning that Austin is off limits, not that that matters since Austin wouldn't even breathe in Violet's direction right? Wrong. After having Violet literally fall for him at a concert, Austin can't seem to get the girl with the sarcastic tongue and muddy converse out of his mind. Throw in Violet's over controlling dad, a phyco ex booty call and the fact that Austin has a knack for charming girls out of their dresses and things may get a little ... complicated. ** As much as I wish I took the picture of the sex god on my cover picture I didn't so credit to whoever that lucky person is**
