While Sunset is staying at her Aunt and Uncle's place, she needs to visit her aunt in the hospital, she meets Twilight on her way to the hospital, they become friends for a while until Sunset goes back to Canterlot for school. She goes about her summer but never forgets Twilight. 2 years pass and Twilight tranfers to CHS on account of, Cadance thinks she needs a better social life. Sunset is ecstatic to see Twilight but... Twilight treats her like a new friend, not remembering who Sunset is at all. Sunset gradually starts falling for the nerd in glasses but she's afraid if she lets it slip, their newfound friendship will be over.
Will Twilight remember? Will Sunset keep her feelings from Twilight? How will this play out in the end?

When she gets there, a ᏟᎬᎡᎢᎪᏆN, ᏴᏞᏌᎬ ᎻᎪᏆᎡᎬᎠ, ᏩᏌᏆᎢᎪᎡ ᏢᏞᎪYᎬᎡ just happens to be sitting by the portal thinking about twilight and wishing he could see her again.
