When our world fell, humanity knew nothing but the fiery blazes of death that swallowed our cities, our homes, our peoples. Our eradication imminent, many relinquished control to the Dread and gave in to its mechanical message: that we were hopeless. Hopeless to stop or annihilation, our destruction. Yet in the husks of rubble that were our greatest achievements, the Imperator rose to challenge the invaders from beyond. So began the Expanse, so began our retribution, so began our vengeance. We follow the Imperator and their guidance, for our salvation lies in their lead and we in their footsteps.
