"I think this is punishment for my sins. I used to kill now I'm going to be killed" Adam said pacing the hallway. 
"Don't be silly Adam. Its just a conference meeting" she said laughing.

Life is hard. Adam learns that the tough way. Not with heart breaks and wrong decisions but with bullets and knives. 
Moving on is traumatic but with a helping hand its relatively simple. But taking the helping hand is a problem.

Adam journeys through the life of conference rooms and bars after spending his early life in forests and ditches. He finds that maybe having a gun to your head is better than having to deal with a broken heart.
