So I wrote this one day when I read the Heroes of Layrucia for the ten billionth time one day. I was wondering what exactly Zipporah thought of the wars that raged around her. And if her point of view takes off, I think I'll write a book for her...
Hope you enjoy!!
And if you're seeing this on a recommended list, I would love it if you stopped by my page @Taegan17 to check out the Heroes of Layrucia!

Aurelia always felt as though she didn't quite fit in. Ever since she was a child her parents despised her. They never showed an ounce of love or interest towards her instead they directed all that love and interest on to her sister aka the golden child. But that wasn't the only reason Aurelia didn't fit in. You see Aurelia held a secret close to her chest. Even since her sixteenth birthday strange things began happening to her. Weird visions, nightmares and unexplainable paranormal events were occuring around her. Was this all real or just in her imagination? On Aurelia's eighteenth birthday she'd finally had enough of her insufferable family. She packed up her belongings and ran away. Away from the life she'd always known and away from the iniquitous people she'd to call mum and dad her whole life. Instead she ran towards a new life and new beginning. It was on this journey that she met him. Tristan Hawthorne. The person who held the answer to all her questions. Aurelia would soon discover not everything is as it seems and nor is she. She in fact belongs in a different world completely, a land named Iridisan. A land full of magic, mythical creatures and beauty. This new world offers many opportunities but this word also contains trials and challenges. With dark forces conspiring against her and individuals plotting her demise how will she know who to trust and how to remain on top. This is a tale of love and betrayal, be careful who you choose to trust.

Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! There are heroes in this world for who it is clear that one day they will accomplish great things in life. Heroes who are born for greatness. Heroes of whom we can obviously see they will be successful form the first moment they set their first steps in this world. Arisa is not that kind of hero. She had never even considered the fact that she could change the world. She is after all, an outcast of society. She is a lightcreature, a person with extraordinary powers. Powers that conveniently are able to overthrow the current reign of an evil called demons. The demons took everything Arisa ever owned, except for her life. Arisa is not interested in crusading against demons though, she only want to keep breathing, which isn't easy when demons want your head... One day Arisa meets Keith, a farmers son who has not yet seen the horrors of life. Keith tries to help Arisa for he soon falls madly in love with her, but will his love save, or condemn them both?
