This humorous tale of murder, friends and a goose starts out as a simple case of Grandma minding. Just graduated from his private investigators course, Dermot Mustang has been contracted to keep an eye on his own 'loopy' old Grandma.  But things are not quite as they seem and he's soon up to his neck in a murder and his Grandma is the number one suspect. 
Not too many people know that the young P.I. on the case, Dermot, is a bit of a wimp, has a few idiosyncrasies  and has a gut wrenching reaction to dead bodies. Even fewer people know Dermot's secret hobby - sewing women's daringly cheeky knickers - but he only sews for his friend who wants a career on the cat-walk! However, keeping his own secrets a secret is difficult as he tries to uncover other people's secrets to track down the murderer.

They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important.
