"Everything I Wish I Knew"
Everything I've always dreamt of was a fairytale type of romance. Everything I've ever wanted was to find my prince charming, one who buys me flowers and chocolates. The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. How Dare You?
Previously known as My Thunderstorm ♡♡♡ "How dare you look at the flowers and call them beautiful? How dare you admire the beauty around you while disregarding the magnificence that flows through your veins. Believe me when I say that you are royalty, thunderstorms are afraid of your power. So before you look in the mirror and think that you are anything less than artistry hear me. When your eyes meet your insecurities please let these words echo through. How dare You?" Broken
I always thought that love would be constantly happy. That someone would write me love songs and stupid poems and everything they did would make my heart flutter. I thought that there was always one person you could depend on no matter what to be there for you. Someone who still cared for you despite all your flaws. Someone who could see the best and the worst of you and still think you were the greatest person in the entire world. Unwritten Bond
Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her.
