We realize that the 12th book has been released and that storyline differs quite a lot from what we've written, but we actually wrote this a long time ago well before 12 came out, just never put it to paper before now. ****

Until someone decided to take Alyss away from Will. Now Will has to save her, Halt has to keep his mouth shut about Catherine being Will's supposedly late wife and Alyss has to postpone the fact that she has to die by the same thing that was supposed to take her. Fire. Will Halt and Will be able to save Alyss in time? Will Halt be able to keep his mouth shut until Alyss tells Will? These questions will be answered as you read.
