"summer and her freedom" refers to some short poems that have been written over the span of a few years, through the good and bad nights, I could always confine in the screen staring back at me.
I realised whilst writing I had always connected with the summer, in a way the summer always gave me the time to begin again and reinvent myself.

"Seriously you've dated the same guy since freshman year!" He asks astonished. I nod my head. "So, you've only kissed one guy?" I laugh. "Why does everyone always ask that?"
