When Mayumi was 5 years old, her and her mother were attacked while out for a walk, they were attacked by a vicious monster. Before heroes arrived, her mother was killed, Mayumi would've been next if her quirk hadn't manifested in her moment of pure terror. When he father learned she had the ability to control monsters, he decided to run some tests to see just what her quirk could do. And so became, what Mayumi dubbed, "The Panic Room".

Inspired by: 'Panic Room' by Au/Ra and Fight Back by NEFFEX

*Some characters may be a little OOC sometimes

Warning: triggering subjects such as abuse, gore, and possibly others

I only own Mayumi and Rini, I also didn't draw any of the artwork, unless stated otherwise.

I'm the fourth of five Todoroki children. Not the prodigy. Not the favorite. Just the one who stayed quiet. Who followed orders. Who stepped into the fire when no one else would. For almost two years, I fought as a licensed Pro-Hero. I wore the name Amethyst. I did what was expected. And I survived. But after the attack on the USJ, everything changed. The public wants answers. The Hero Commission wants control. And now, all eyes are on me- The youngest Pro-Hero in Japan. The daughter of Endeavor. Despite my experience, I've been ordered to attend U.A. High. To sit in classrooms. To train with students half as prepared. To pretend I'm just one of them. But I'm not. Being a hero was easier than this. Because no one prepares you for what it means to fall for someone like Katsuki Bakugo- Loud, reckless, infuriating... And the only person who's ever made me feel seen. And as if that wasn't enough... I'm being followed. And for the first time in years- I'm not sure I can win this alone. A slow-burn story about control, trust, and choosing your own path-even when your past refuses to let go. 💠 Bakugo x Pro-Hero!
