King Walter Apateon, ruler of Gysistan, is holding a competition. Participants from all over the country are to search throughout the lands for the twelve gems of the king's crown. Having been scattered far and wide, the task would prove treacherous, or even fatal to some. But those while the whit, the strength, and the will to return to the king with a gem in toe would sit beside the nobles in status. They would be granted the title of duke or duchess, and their family would be uplifted in class. Follow brother, Jonah and Akram Waller, as they seek out these gems in hopes of a life outside of the slums to which their family is bound.

The king of Adaresa, King Marlan, was able to ally with two smaller yet some of the greatest kingdoms; Caderis and Mirari.
