It had been a two weeks after rudolph had his birthday, tony had gone home back to sandiego while rudolph and his family settled down in their newly found home.
Rudolph and his sister anna both had started to miss tony a little while after he had left germany. This caused rudolph and anna to make a plan to visit tony without their parents noticing they both were gone.
