Beatrice Gallagher's world is turning upside down. Her parents are getting a divorce, her best friend is moving to New York and she is starting high school soon.
The developments overwhelm Beatrice. She is restless at night and can't stop overthinking all the changes she has to endure.
One night the world turns upside down, literally this time. The sky becomes the ground and the earth becomes the sky. Not only that, but there are no other humans left. It's just Beatrice, the birds, the bees and a whole bunch of floating fish species.
In this world, that makes absolutely no sense, Beatrice has to try to find a way out. With the help of some big, friendly mammals and a few quirky fish, she attempts to come to terms with change and with herself.
