Zombies. Rare topic people talk about. Not any more. Zombies are real and they are out to get you! Hi! I'm Jeanne. My life is fantastic right now. If you consider fighting with Zombies with your best friend Sarah by your side fascinating, yeah! So heres the thing. We live in Miami, Florida and we are the only people alive there. Until a pack of survivors come and help us live. My sister, Lucinda was bitten. She is currently in my basement because I am figuring out how to cure her and make a cure for tons of people. How far will I go to cure the vicious and deadly disease? Hahaha...read to find out! ;)

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Turning humans is a dangerous process for both the humans and vampires. The vampires hired scientists to create a synthetic venom to turn humans into vampires. Their first prototype was tested prematurely. It gave the human test subjects extreme speed and strength for 1 hour. They escaped and infected hundreds. The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night.
