After "Sonic Mania", i thought that Sega finally understand their mistakes and get start making good games. But.... Nope. They didn't. "Sonic Forces" is not bad game, but it to me (and to all fans) it was a really big disappointment!

Sonic: Story of the resistance
This is essencially an anime retelling of the sonic game that came out two months ago. this game specifically is called sonic forces, which like mania, it's 2d counterpart, i have yet to play. this game i'm more interested in however, despite it's mixed reception. i haven't played either game yet, so if any of my readers feel as if it's out of whack, then that's why. just note that this isn't going to be EXACTLY like the game.
