Sophitia has survived three years of the apocalypse relying and watching her own back, can she do the same for Thorin and his group? Will they endanger her safety or will they save her from something she didn't even know she needed saving from? Can she keep them alive long enough for them to figure out a way home? Remember, (Y/N) is a skin-changer, and based on the 'research' I've done on the topic, skin-changers have lifespans relatively longer than those of average humans, and since no one ever really specified the exacts, I'll do what I wish with them. For the sake of the story, we'll say skin-changer lifespan can vary; some can live to be 500, others may just live to 100. AND for the sake of the fic, we'll say (Y/N) will live to be somewhere near the middle. Don't worry though, she definitely doesn't look old. And for the record, yes I get that Thorin's age in this doesn't really take into account the falling of Erebor and his presence in it, but lets just say that all of those happenings were a little more recent.
