No one is completely good and no one is only bad. Every dark person chose that way. It could have been because of bad upbringing, hunger for power or a failed love. Take Tom Riddle for example. He was a brilliant, charming, handsome young man, who always had been distant....different. His youth in Wool's orphanage was harsh and he was treated like a toy, a freak, an outcast, a monster. His good looks didn't save him there but only seemed to push him further away from the light. But he did love, did feel the power of friendship. It was unusual for him to show affection but he was very much capable of it. But only to one person. A girl, which had casted a spell over his heart. Someone who was like him...different but special. Ancestral Dragon
Seventeen-year-old Jak is struggling to get through high school. From the bus driver who hates him to his English teacher that finds any excuse to make his life miserable. However, Jak is determined to get back home to his mother after magically being pulled into another world through the magic of a meteor shower. Kaolin is a world where today's technology doesn't exist. An old couple rescue Jak from the cold mountain air and help him take steps in finding a way home. At the same time the king's men sense the illegal use of magic that brought Jak to Kaolin and come looking for him. The old couple use themselves as decoys, allowing Jak to get away. He finds himself with the resistance against a tyrannical king after narrowly escaping the general of the king's knights. He had a little help from a new comrade and an ancestral dragon. The members of the resistance think he is just another unfortunate magic-user who is seeking asylum. However, when Jak bonds with the ancestral dragon he is given an ancient power not witnessed in three hundred years. Along with this new power, the dragon comes with a prophetic warning that Jak's presence on Kaolin is a greater threat to the balance of nature than the murderous king and he must leave before it is too late. Once Jak uncovers a way back to Earth, he also discovers the old couple that saved him is being held within the dungeons of the capital. He is forced to choose between saving them and preventing the dragon's catastrophic prophecy.Completa
Cassiopea's School for the Gifted
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been editedCompleta

Writing this for a contest: (prompt 44) In the middle of a storm, a stranger arrives at her cabin, and she offers them shelter. But the storm's forecast said they'll be stuck for much longer than expected. *************** She was a squib, and she lived in the middle of the woods away from society. Her parents were purebloods, but they passed away from Dragon Pox, leaving the girl alone. She was raised away from society because her parents wanted to keep her safe from the wizarding world. Her parents raised her without magic, or if they did use magic, it was when she wasn't around or wasn't paying attention. She was oblivious to magic, because she had never seen it before. So, when a stranger arrives at her cabin in the middle of a wild storm, she was hesitant, because she had never been around anyone but her own parents before. When the forecast came through that the storm made it impossible for everyone to leave their homes, she realized she was stuck with the stranger longer than she anticipated. The stranger had an almost threatening aura around him, and that scared her slightly, but she couldn't help but feel intrigued by him. What she didn't know, was in the wizarding world, there was a special thing called soul mates. This stranger had arrived by accident, but there was reason. He had been trying to get away from the evil of his father, and went in search of his soul mate, but the storm slowed him down, unknowingly bringing him right to his soul mate's front door...
