The war with Gaia is over, but alas, the life of a demigod is never easy. Rachel Elizabeth Dare is having troubling visions of a dangerous new foe, and monsters have been spotted gathering throughout the United States. It soon becomes clear that this is no false alarm, when Rachel utters the next Great Prophecy.
The news that the God Hades' great Helm of Darkness has been stolen, comes soon after, leaving Camp Half-Blood shaken. Now it's up to Darren, a son of Apollo, Nico di Angelo and Lou Ellen Blackstone, to find the helm before it's too late.
But as they encounter old and new foes alike, and come across things that are more powerful than they can ever imagine, can they truly find the Helm of Darkness?
Note: The story takes place about six months after the Giant War, and in a world where the events of 'The Trials of Apollo' never occurred.
Many, if not most of the characters are owned by Rick Riordan, whom I'm not affiliated with in any way. Even then, some of the characters do belong to me.
"I suspect you'd do anything dangerous I suggested my son should do."
