Rüdmonté, a world where creatures can coexist in harmony, except for humans who are constantly hunted by spiteful warriors named Stiakers and the fear of deathly like creatures known as Trägers (the ones who carry souls to the other side).
Nelly, a former Träger herself, has never known any other life apart from being passed from home to home because of what she is. When the sudden death of her master occurs, 6 year old Nelly takes to the streets in search of a desperate fight for survival.
Ten years later her fortune changes when an man comes in search of his long missing daughter...
Being the only one who can contact the other side, Nelly finds herself bargaining with fate in hopes to join his quest and flee from the streets and the dangers she puts herself once and for all.
The adventure that Nelly signs up for is quickly turned into a test of mental and physical strength which will assess her fortitude in love, happiness and well-being.
She will be pushed to her limits and at times, to her death but will it be enough to take her to the finish line?
