Ryley Carter is attacked by a family friend one night. Although her attacker is in jail the events of that night still haunt her. When her mother moves them to a town far away from that night, Ryley still can't forget what happened. As the new girl in school, she is bullied by the others. Fighting the battle of her own thoughts as well as the challenges of getting through high school, she meets a boy, Felix Collins, who isn't so different from her. As these two outcasts become closer and raise one another up, their pasts are still haunting them. Will they ever truly trust each other if they are reminded by their pasts just by being together? Can they overcome their challenges or will they let their demons control their lives?
