Amara willingly sacrificed herself to the dragons to save her circle of villages. She was her village headman's daughter and the right age, so she had to lead by example. Expecting death since she hit puberty, Amara wasn't ready to look forward to tomorrow.

The blue dragons have always found their sacrifices in the village of Ohenimura and yet Daichi was called to a sacrifice of another village. Coming back to Dragonheim proved his people were not ready to accept such a change. Daichi wasn't going to let them dictate to him though and all dragons knew better than to come for another's treasure.

Her refusal of him led to her being spread naked on a sacrificial altar with a dragon winging its way to her. Finally able to tell the man she loved how she felt he does all he can to free or die with her. Will they be able to escape the murderous beast baring upon them? Published weekly, every wednesday.
