Dragon's Princess

Sakura is an orphan in the village of Ohenimura. Every five years their village has to offer a sacrifice to the dragons and an orphan is chosen so they're given the best of everything, education, beauty care and diet. Which makes them the most sought after brides, except for the unlucky one chosen to die at the hands of the dragons.

On the day she's chosen as the sacrifice, Suki is shocked to realise the sacrifices are not marked for death. Far from it. But what is a girl who grew up regimented and expected to die do with more freedom and power than a female should ever have? How can she reconcile herself to a life far greater than she ever knew possible? And how can she handle a prince who is hers but doesn't want her?
