Veronica was put up for adoption when she was born due to the fact that her parents couldn't afford another child. She ended up being adopted by Melanie and Miguel Lòpez who raised her to fight and defend herself to be a part of their family gang.
Melanie decides to send Veronica to a public school after moving to the states so she can live as normal as possible.
Though Veronica hates the idea, she still has to attend school and almost loses her shit when a preppy cheerful girl named "Valentina" looks identical to her.

Although Veronica is learning to have a real social life to be a real teenager doesn't stop her gang life from interfering and attempting to ruin her and especially a boy she wont give up on as she finds out who she is and wants to be.
