Ten months ago, high-school graduate and beloved girlfriend Jane Moreaux had disappeared from her home without any trace to where she went. Her phone screen was smashed and many of her personal items including clothes and photographs vanished along with her. Deemed dead after two months of investigating, everyone went about their lives as if nothing had occurred...but those close to her wanted justice, a proper investigation. Closure. No body was found, not even a single strand of DNA found anywhere.
And then Kira came along, unsuspecting to the detective looking to prove his guilt. This serial killer had some sort of motive and due to how recent it was, infamous detective L knew somewhere in his mind that they were linked in addition to a case of his past. Unsure of how quite yet, but he was determined that they were.
Jane Moreaux, strung in the middle of this all somehow. A woman waiting to be found.
