After the storm, Hugo started to have feelings for Libby, an obviously older girl in her early 20s. Hugo hated the fact that he was just a kid.
He hated the fact that she doesn't even know his name. On a clear day, Hugo sent a paper airplane with his name written on it, towards Libby's house.
However, it did not go toward her house. Hugo followed the plane only to get lost and never found his way home. In the middle of nowhere, an unusually big dog came his way, and mysteriously talked, the dog apparently knew the way home, so he followed.
