"Farzaneh..." I pull her to me, flinching when my sleeve rolls back, her eyes drawn to the markings. On my bare skin's a map revealing a different tattoo, one for every person I killed. I hate looking at the running tally of tattoos on my body. It reminds me of how many I've murdered. Reminds me I'm a human with a death goddess. My hakama, the color blue, blends into the folds of the red cloak around her, the effect like fire and ice. I bat my lashes, flex my muscles, all wiry from climbing the rigging when I get bored. "I'm just a boy." The look on her face is cruel. It reminds me why those chains are on her wrists. We're both cursed. Dark fantasy PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN with an LGBT+-ensemble *** Trans Captain Lucky Dice's enemies know him as a gambler, playing a game with a cursed set of dice that kills the losers instantly. The only person unaffected is Lucky, who's said to have sold his soul to the Rahasian goddess of death to get the dice to kill everyone but himself. But now, on his eighteenth birthday, the goddess of death calls on him to return the favor. The Divine princess, Kaliya, is trapped in the body of an all-devouring serpent, cursed by the Witch Goddess, the Matriarch of Truth, to weaken and murder her own godly parents. The gods are dying. And the world is truly ending if a pirate, a cursed witch, a vengeful warrior, and a con artist have to save it. (UPDATES DAILY) COPYRIGHT 2018 BY SOPHIA WHITTEMORE. All Rights Reserved. "I thought you knew from the start." "What?" He asks with certain coldness lingering in his tone. "That I'd never leave you." I let out a soft chuckle at my own words before continuing,"I mean, how could I? When my heart is so attached to you." My words are met with silence making my lips turn into a thin line. "Why?" The absurdity of the question makes me look at the person sitting beside me. Only for our eyes to meet. His onyx coloured eyes stared back at me. His expression was as stoic as ever. I let my head shake slightly at his dumbness. "You understood me in a way no one else ever did." "What if I can't offer you that understanding anymore?" He asks with an arched brow. His question made me turn my gaze back to my hands that laid in my lap. I fiddled with my fingers for some moments. "It doesn't matter." I continue, "you understood me back then, that's enough for me." ----- A rouge ninja, a S rank criminal, a man who killed his clan. A man despised by all the villagers. A man whom she just couldn't hate. Kazumi Himura who couldn't just give up on her friend. Who just couldn't believe in what everyone else said. Would she be able to find out the truth and be able to do anything for her friend? Would she fail as a friend or would she make him believe in the good that's left in the world? Would she be able to convince him of all the goodness he deserves? Read Intertwined Fates to find out! None of the characters belong to me expect the OC!

Under the Shadow of the Moon

79 parts Complete

Luna Vis woke up one morning, or rather one night, to the dim light of the moon. It was a day that started like any other, but turned out unlike any other, setting off the chain reaction that set her life ablaze for a second time. For six years she had lived a new normal after her life was uprooted, but now everything was on the cusp of changing again. Almost exactly six years prior, the world as it was had changed entirely for half of the world. And over a century prior to that, the world had burned. The world burned in silver and in gold, and out of the ashes rose a phoenix: a new dawn for civilization. New cities, new ideas. New weapons. New... insurance policies. Now Luna and her friends are learning first hand what being on the front lines of a war is like. Now they are finally learning what it was the government had kept so secret for six years. Now it is all up to them, but more specifically, up to Luna to stop The Eye and the White Sand from ruining everything. Only months away from her sixteenth birthday, she is handed a purpose that may just be worth a sacrifice. Soon the world will be normal... whatever she chooses that to be.
