The Forbidden Room

Ariyah Vein has spent her whole life constantly moving with her author mother and her detective father. Now they decide they want to 'settle down' in a place called Black valley where nothing is ever as it seems.
At her new high school, there's a room nobody gets near, like it's blocked off, but when she asks about it, her only response is, "What room?"
She has no idea who she really is, so faced with scary shadows that reveal themselves at night, 4 mysterious kids who seem to be the only ones allowed in this nonexistent room, one young just out of high school teacher, her lying parents, and things that go bump in every hour of the day, what is there left to do than to think that she's crazy.
Only she isn't.
