The year is 2025, supposed to be graduate, Fioré, finds herself in a world defecated by the 'Risen' - She and her group aim to Agartha, hoping to trek to the center of the earth for protection against the living and the dead. Their new reality gets more twisted than just the dead who walk, being few of a kind in a world full of people looking to survive comes with a price.

It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

If I were to get injured in the field, she will have to spend her life taking care of me. If I were to die, wouldn't I hurt her more than now.
