Eddie makes his choice; it's time. "Maybe they are closer than you think, Buck," Eddie whispers into Buck's ear. Buck stiffens, and Eddie doesn't panic. He waits it out. Buck takes a deep breath and tightens his hold around Eddie's ribs. Buck leans back and looks into Eddie's eyes. Eddie reaches up and wipes the tear away from under Buck's eye. He slides his hand down to cup Buck's jaw. "Can I?" Eddie asks, and Buck gives him a very firm nod of approval. Eddie pushes up on the balls of his feet and softly presses his lips to Buck's.Complete
