A near-death experience leads Sylvia Thomas to leave the big city for a brief vacation to a cabin in the mountains. She'd left the grand city of Dol'Sera for a fresh start. A new place. Time to decide where her life was headed now that things had changed.

Her own world is thrown for a head spin when she gets caught and is forced to work for her freedom. Her only way back to a normal life is to learn the inmate's plans to escape and help prevent it.
She doesn't know if she can. Or if all those inside deserve to be.
But what she knows for certain is that though the world may have forgotten those who dwell in those cells. They have not forgotten the world, and that which was once theirs.
