When one turns the age of eighteen, they stop aging until they meet their soulmate. They have a countdown timer on their wrist to tell them when that will happen. For most people it is around the time they turn eighteen, for some it is a little longer.

Matthew is one of the lucky ones who's timer is set to go off on the evening of his eighteenth birthday. His soulmate is not so lucky. It turns out that's the least of their problems, but that's alright. Gilbert will be there for Matthew, and Matthew will be there for Gilbert, however long it takes for them to overcome their problems.

When you turn 14, you get a tattoo that describes your soulmate. As you spend more time with them, it gets more detailed. But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under. After three days it goes away and you never get another tattoo. Disclaimer: I do not own the PJO or HoO characters. I wish I did though, but sadly that title belongs to Uncle Rick. However the world is on the verge of WW3. The only way it can be prevented is an arranged marriage between a one country from each side. The allies don't know what to do, everyone in allies has a long history of bad blood between the opposing side. Nobody wanted to go though with it. Matthew, also known as Canada, agreed. Canada is a large nation that is passive aggressive and very unnoticed. He goes as the country to be married. Gilbert, also known as Prussia, also agreeded. Prussia is a country the was presumed to be dissolved but, there is a small area of land that counts as Prussia's territory. He is the other country to be married. They dont know much about each other and didn't know they would be getting married at all. However, Wouldn't it be strange if an arranged marrige to stop a war turned out to be a perfect couple?
