This is story #2 in the Daryl Dixon fanfic.  If you haven't read #1 "The Remains of Tomorrow" please make sure you have a read of that first; otherwise you will not be able to follow the story

One week, three days, two hours, five minutes and thirty-three seconds; that's how long Kenzie was stuck on the roof in Washington DC after Rick, Daryl, Eugene, Michonne and the marines made their escape. 

Facing dehydration, starvation and the option of tapping out, she thinks no one wIll rescue her. Until a brother and sister come across her dire situation.

Heading back to Alexandria is all Kenzie ever wanted, to be back in Daryl's arms and with those she loves. But there is still a shadow in the dark; a stalker who has a vendetta against Kenzie.

You'll still be able to figure out what's going on without having read it, but everything will be much more meaningful if you read it.
