Mature
The old lady smiled, thinking of her long-time lost lover.

They were young, fiery and full of ideals, at the dawn of a new world that was, despite their will, already there. Arthur, John, Mary-Beth and all the others. She remembered them as it was yesterday. It was now time to tell their story.

Red Dead Revelation I: A Good Thing (ArthurXEliza) by SayHwaet
25 parts Complete Mature
Summary: A story hidden in the past, no one really knows how Arthur and Eliza met. Despite its tragic ending, it had a beginning. One of love, hope, and an unknown future. Eliza Bloom was young and alone, recently made an orphan, and was merely trying to get by. Keeping any hopes and dreams that she once had tucked away, she worked long days as a waitress in the blossoming town's only restaurant in the wild, untamed West. Not being able to enjoy any of the pleasures a young woman was afforded, she had little time to socialize or see what the world had to offer. However, when a caravan of gold prospectors came into the town, she meets a tall, handsome stranger. She does not have any inclination as to how such an event, which was commonplace at her place of work, would change her life...and his. This is fanfiction expounding on the lore within Red Dead Redemption. I do not own the original characters or own Read Dead Redemption, which have been created by Rockstar. Eliza (Bloom) and Isaac are both my interpretations of the characters, as they were only lightly mentioned within the course of the second installment of the game's franchise. Alice Ford, Bethy, and additional characters that add depth to the story are my own creation. The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this literary work are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred. Please note: not every installment is "mature," however, this is a fair warning that the themes in this story are appropriate for only mature audiences.

The van der Linde gang has taken shelter deep in the snowy mountains in an old mining camp known as Colter, following their botched robbery in the town of Blackwater. They are cold, hungry and unsure of what their futures hold. As Arthur Morgan is out desperately trying to track down game to bring back and feed to the starving gang he stumbles across an animal unlike any even he, in all of his travels, has ever seen before. In the process of finding out the unique story behind it he meets a woman. He can't decide if this woman's presence in the same desolate, snow covered wilderness as he and the gang are in is mere coincidence or if there's more behind it than she's letting on. If it is pure coincidence that she's there than what is she doing alone on this frozen mountain? Whatever has brought her into his life he isn't sure but what he does know is he can't get her image out of his mind. Her bright red hair along with her piercing gaze that seems to stare right through him. As he attempts to find out more about her he convinces himself it's strictly out of caution. It's his responsibility to make sure that she's harmless and poses no threat to them but somehow deep down he already knows the only thing she poses a threat to is his heart.
