"Every time your heart is broken, a doorway cracks open to a world full of new beginnings, new opportunities."
-Patti Roberts

They say you never realise what you had until you don't have it anymore.
Med School wasn't a place where you find love, it made you lose human contact and communication wasn't a strong suit. However, Mark Sloan was different, he had all the human contact he needed and his communication skills made everyone even the teachers go week in the knees. His best friend Derek Shepherd would refuse to listen to any girl asking if whether Mark Sloan had talked about her, he would just sigh telling her not to get her hopes up.

60 parts Complete Mature

Meredith Grey, a surgical resident at Seattle Grace, abhors Derek Shepherd, her attending. In her and her fellow interns' eyes, he was a pompous jackass. Meanwhile, MEG216 a.k.a. Meredith slowly falls for her IM chat mate... little does she know as she plans to meet DASH109, she's met with a familiar face. What starts out as a simple interaction flourishes into something unexpected... Written by: aquariusmind on the topic "Surgical Language" at Tapatalk in 2010.
