You're already familiar with what life is like at Hogwarts, but what about other corners of the wizarding world?

Hidden within the Schwarzwald, Innestrad Academy of Magical Arts is not your typical school for magic. Here, where all sorts of creative passions are more than encouraged, students from all around the globe choose to continue their regular education by opting to specialize in various unusual and complex subjects.

One of which is music!

Innestrad is renown for its traditional musical festivals, where studentformed bands compete for the vote of the crowd in an attempt to make their way to stardom, find themselves spiritually or simply to become popular among their peers.

Daynen and Orianna have been best friends for quite some time, all the while playing in the most famous school band - Wands High. The band has been dominant for the past several years in the Battle of the Bands contest, but with their 7th year initially starting as normal, fractures within the group become visible, as long-suppressed opinions and musical differences quickly come into view.

Everyday life suddenly becomes even more interesting with the arrival of several groups of exchange students from some of the most famous of magical schools, as well as a pair of Aurors leading an investigation which could quickly indicate a serious, imminent danger.

As Daynen, a once somewhat wild and carefree party animal and favorite of the crowd, now basically wanting nothing more but to play his guitar and be left alone by people, tries to once again rediscover who he is, he finds himself drawn to a certain surprisingly knowledgeable young witch from Hogwarts. With that the path he had mapped out for himself is about to head into a completely different direction, changing his life and ultimately, the future of Innestrad itself...

Friends will become foes as new alliances, both forced and spontaneous, will be formed. The struggle towards the Great Prize has never been fiercer...
