Cassiopeia Alula Black was the pride and joy of Walburga and Orion Black. She had beautiful dark hair and piercing grey eyes, she never spoke out of turn, and held the same beliefs as her parents. Toujours Pur. Always pure. She was proud to be apart of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, just as she had been raised to believe. Muggles, Muggle-Borns, and Half-Bloods were all supposed to be beneath her. The association with any of their kind would bring shame upon the Black name. And If Cassiopeia was anything, it wasn't shameful.

For as long as she could remember, she had always longed to go to Hogwarts. Cassiopeia's cousins, Bellatrix, Narcissa and Andromeda always had riveting stories of Hogwarts and the fun they had in their Slytherin common room. That is, until Andromeda got disowned for fraternizing with a Muggle-Born Hufflepuff by the name of Ted Tonks. Cassiopeia's parents talked about Andromeda like she was dirt on the bottom of their shoe. But Cassiopeia still saw her as Andromeda, her fun loving adventurous cousin. That's when she began to question her parents beliefs, but never aloud, for that would lead to the Unforgivable, and as Cassiopeia knew, it wasn't pleasant.

In 1970, Cassiopeia finally got her Hogwarts acceptance letter. She held her head high as she sat on the stool. She was positive she would get Sorted into Slytherin. But when the word 'Gryffindor,' rang out, Cassiopeia knew she was in for a world of trouble.

That Christmas when she returned home, she was drug inside by her hair and thrown onto the floor. That was the day that Cassiopeia learned that a parents love was purely conditional.

Pandora Black was the youngest Black sibling. She was close to both of her brothers, even Sirius, though he had left home when she wasn't even old enough to go to Hogwarts yet. Many things happened in her life that tore down most of her happiness, the first being her oldest brother leaving home, and the second being her other brother dying before his true time had come; not to mention the hate she had felt from her parents often when she disobeyed. They compared her to Sirius on many occasions, so they took quite a bit of anger out on her often. She couldn't say she ever shed a tear when either of them died, and she wouldn't lie to anyone and say she did. She cried only three times in her life, once was Sirius leaving, once was Regulus' death, and once was when Sirius was thrown into Azkaban, leaving her completely alone. She was now in her seventh year of Hogwarts, and she still singled herself out in most cases. Bill Weasley was like any normal student at Hogwarts, for the most part. He had little brothers that attended the school with him. He recieved excellent grades, and he had been a prefect each year he had the chance. He turned down the position as Head Boy for his final year though, because things were too hectic for him. At the beginning of his sixth year, after the first quidditch game, he had accidentally gone too far at a party. Nine months later, Bill was given a baby. The mother, a spiteful Gryffindor, despised the baby and left Hogwarts as soon as the baby was born. Now, Bill had to balance his last year of Hogwarts, as well as raising a baby, being a single father, and becoming a curse breaker like he had wanted to be for years.

Pain followed Katherine Travers. trickling like blood into her palm, whether falling in rivulets or streams it was always there, waiting to pounce, to sink its teeth deep into her neck. It followed many of the Pureblood children; Some embraced it, like Rabastan Lestrange, turning into a cruel twisted man, ready to continue the cycle, to let it loose on his children. Some accepted it, like Narcissa Black, who obeyed her Husband even though it was not who she truly wanted to be with. Some hid from it, like Regulus Black, who used his brother's shadow like a shield, until the shadow turned into a spotlight, and he couldn't hide anymore. Some Ran from it, Like Sirius Black, who escaped the sharp claws of his parents only to shove the people he loved in the way, saving himself at a high cost. But the reoccurring factor was that it always caught up to them. Rabastan made it there like a race, running to the cruelty and the cold of being a pureblood. Narcissa was dragged there as her words and protests were drowned out by her husband's shouts. Regulus drowned in the burdens of who he had become and what he had done to avoid the very thing he was. Sirius fell, and from where he had climbed out of the reach of his parents, he went sweeping under until he was stuck. But Katherina Astraea Travers didn't have to run, or fall, or drown. She was already there. WARNING: Mature content such as Violence, eating disorders, foul language, abuse, underage use of alcohol/drugs, Sexual assault, Rape, and Maybe (will label if so) Smut.
