Being the only mysterious survivor from a gruesome accident where her whole family died makes life hard for Lani. She moves to live with her grandmother where unexplainable things begin to happen. Even though Lani is terrified of the ocean she somehow feels herself being drawn to it, however, her grandmother warns her to stay away as if she knows more than she lets out.
Every night Lani is plagued by nightmares revolving around strange and unknown sea creatures. Confused and scared Lani tries to figure out this peculiar feeling inside her without nearing the impossible - the ocean.
