It was impossible to transport your magic into someone so that they also have the ability to use it. You can put the magic there, but that only means that you have control over the body, but not the other way around. Those who weren't born with the ability were to stay that. Most people would say that you'd have to be very lucky to be able to have the ability to contain magic. It seemed like a different case to Marcellus, he'd even say that he is very unfortunate to have this ability. He never asked for it, he never wanted it, he never accepted it. It was just there, slowly growing inside him, as if ready to consume him at the right moment. He hated being able to contain that power within him, he wanted it to wear away bit by bit, be gone from his body, but it would never go away, it was there thriving inside him, and it was there to stay. After all, it was just that that killed his sister Livia, the only person that understood him. __________ With the virus destroying anything in its way, Marcellus regrets his life, hoping he was never alive. He is immune to this virus with the powers he was born with. But he can't back out just yet, he needs a way to make sure it doesn't bring anymore danger to people, to find a cure, so that they won't end up the same way as the only person that valued him as he is. Masks

This is the second book to Barriers {damirae} so if u haven't read that one some stuff in this one won't make sense so I sagest u read that one first. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "I wear a mask. Not to hide but to protect, protect people from getting hurt. It consoles and hides away all the emotions I keep at bay. I wear a mask. It is stained black and seeping through all the emotions I hide from you. Distorted and can't make out All these shadows that lurk about. But though the eyes you can see a hint at thy you can perceive. Nothing left... I'm inside out. And now i see that the mask itself... was meant for me. Sometimes you wear a mask for to long that you forget who you used to be beneath it all. In all this confusion one thing holds true, my feeling for you. So when I say I love you. I don't expect to hear it in return. I just want you to know I Love you not for how you danced with my angels. But for the way you calmed my Demons." ~ Robin
