Hermione Granger, a little insecure 16 year old bookworm, was alone at her school, she was a brilliant young lady always on top of her many classes but she had no friends, no one to talk to, no one to laugh with, no one who cared, but this all changed when a jet-haired boy with striking green eyes took transfer to her school.

She thought he was like the others, she thought he would tease her, bully her, despise her, but oh boy Hermione Granger has never been so wrong in her life before.

Harry Potter was the complete opposite in fact, he talked to her, teased her playfully, he was nice to her and he was her first friend, but she didn't know that she was going to think of him as something more than a friend pretty soon.

(This was my first writing, so it isn't my best work, very much the opposite actually.)
