Life for Brent is... average. Average awards, average mom, average (annoying) sister, and an average dad that could save the world. Ok that one, not so average. But on one average day, the whole world comes crashing down. Brent's dad gets fired from his job for "losing" a vial that contains the cure to cancer. It appeared to had just "vanished". But no one wanted to look for it so they blamed the first person they could, Brent's dad. Brent, being the VERY average detective he is, along with his sister, sneak off to investigate the case. Only then do they realize what average hole they just climbed into... which turned out to be not so average after all...

A taxi driver stumbles upon a lack of meaning in his life in the wake of his elderly companion's disappearance. A man finding misfortune in fixing his and his family's lives receives a letter from an unknown benefactor during a tumultuous era in his homeland. *** A bundle of short stories I wrote over the past few months to explore themes, ideas, and stifled feelings about my experiences with life and the rest of the world. Beyond Her Exterior
She lived her life as if it was normal and everything was okay. But in reality, that was never the case, She was struggling. Her life wasn't as easy as she tried to make it seem. She went to school, pretending to be happy all the time so her friends didn't become suspicious. And then she went home, to watch her 'father' throw his life away as he shot up in his arm. She hated seeing him locking himself in the bathroom only to come out ten minutes later, high out of his mind. He scared her; He did weird things when he was like that. From walking into her room and just staring around and then leaving without saying a word, to yelling at her and throwing whatever was in arms reach at her. She was suffering, but she still tried to make herself look like she was okay. Nobody suspected anything odd going on in her life. Afterall, she was Alexis Deaken, Everyone believed her life was perfect. They evyed her, they believed she had everything. REFLECTION
The main character fell for a popular boy in their high school. For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends.
