"Why would you risk stealing hot restaurant pasta over the nearby junkfood? Its easier."
"Because, they're you're favorite."
"And?"
"Because, Sadie, like it or not, I actually care for you."
He winked.
I rolled my eyes and tore off the brown paper wrapper from the hot newly-cooked lasagna.
"Gee, why not date me, then?" I muttered.
Of course, I hadn't meant for him to hear that. But unfortunately for me, he did.
His look was full of amusement. His car was just enough for two people, but I had suddenly felt claustrophobic.
He leaned in closer, his breath fanning over my cheeks. He stared at me and smirked.
"Believe me, I've been trying."

Sadie Brown is innocent. Dean Wilson isn't. But somehow, they're both running from authority. And evading arrest. Together.
=
When wrongly accused of a crime she didn't commit, NY Times Best-Selling Author Sadie Brown teams up with an ex-museum curator, Dean Wilson, who was now America's Most Wanted fugitive.
Of course, they are wary of each other at first, given that they had found their way to each other under certain circumstances.
But eventually, they had to help each other hide from the police and go on with their life, evading arrest. The two work together to steal cash, clothing, food and water hesitantly.
As both their abilities to hide and run developed, its no surprise that their feelings had, too.
That is, until Hayden gets caught.
And Sadie doesn't.
With putting Dean's lessons into use over the time, she has to go on with her own, hiding and running away alone, in order to fight for justice - and free Dean along the way.
Bcause getting caught was not in the plan. And falling in love wasn't, either.

"We're fugitives, on the run!" Ashley practically yelled for the whole world to hear as we tried to outrun the police. Stupid, I know, but guess who suggested it? The same person who was yelling that we should hide underground until the world ends.
"Ashley this is dumb, we need to get out of here," I exclaimed frenzy, and butterflies wondering about in my body.
"Really? Dumb? It's pretty damn smart if we don't want to go to jail!" She huffed as we continued running turning corners.
"You should have at least taken off the shoes," I pointed at the adidas on her feet.
