Bravery

On the outside, Jayla Williams is the most confident girl. She doesn't give a crap what anyone thinks of her, and is completely, utterly, fearless. At least, that's what everyone thinks of her, but no-one knows how much fear she really holds. Many of this was imposed through her teacher and appointed guardian, Mr. Jacobs. After her mother left indefinitely on a business trip, he was put in charge of her in her place. Nobody knows the truth of what her mother and especially Mr. Jacobs puts her through.

Jayla can't even fathom telling anyone about what they put her through, but eventually the bottle holding it in starts to crack and threatens her relationships with her friends, not to mention her own health. She absolutely can't let them know, though, in fear of being left with nobody, but she might not be strong enough to get through it in one piece. Will Jayla be able to conquer her fears and insecurities and finally get the happiness she deserves?
