What Could've Been

Dick & Wally have a one night fling. Wally leaves early in the morning. Dick wakes up alone. A few weeks go by. Dick finds out Wally & Artemis are together. Dick gets mad. He doesn't say anything. Wally acts like nothing ever happened.

Dick gets sick. He's pregnant. With Wally's baby. Dick abruptly leaves Gotham & the team. He moves to Australia. He never gave anyone a reason to why he left.

Dick's lived in Australia for 8 years. Taking care of his little girl. He cut all ties with all superheroing activity. He cut ties with all his used to be friends & family. Trying to forget. The one person who haunts his dreams at night.

On a Sunday afternoon Dick returns home with his daughter. From the church a few blocks away. He got a job at the church & started attending with his daughter. A few hours later he hears a knock on the door. He opens the door to see a face he wished he could forget.
