Nobody will see you as human but a pathetic loser asking for help if you don't have a... Quirk. The people who doesn't have a Quirk will be considered as 'Quirkless' and useless.
A small tiny child... about four, walking around a forest, not just any forest.. the forest is called 'The Lost Souls'. People named this particular forest 'The Lost Souls' since this is the place where they abandon the weaks.
A tiny defenseless child walking around the forest at night, crying. The spirits and guardians couldn't handle it anymore. They had to do something.... had to make sure no more child gets hurt and abandoned anymore. The guardians decided to raise this child as their protector, the forests protector and the children's. Also raising him as their own.

Abandoned in the woods when his quirk didn't come in time. Izuku struggled to survive on his own. Forgotten by many, Izuku did not give up and die like his mother wanted him to. Instead, he fought to live and then thrived when a quirk manifested. As time passed, rumors came up about a beast in the woods made of flesh and bone in different shapes. Many thought it was made up or children's imaginations gone awry. In truth, it was just a green bean hanging out in the woods and being spotted when he wandered.
